History of IN FOCUS Consulting

After twelve years of incubation, IN FOCUS Consulting was born in June, 2000 by Gary Sager (Ed.D.) and Sue Sager (M.S.Ed., P.H.R.) for the purpose of transforming the workplace, one leader at a time.  With Gary's passion for identifying individual strengths and matching employees to environments and Sue's love for leadership and high performance, IN FOCUS Consulting has the background and backbone necessary to turn your potential into peak performance.  With over 50 clients nationwide and 35 years' combined experience in program delivery, Gary and Sue have what you need to take your organization to the next level.  For extensive projects, IN FOCUS Consulting employs a team of experienced facilitators to accomplish your goals on your timeline.

Sue Sager, M.S.Ed., P.H.R.

Sue is a Leadership Accelerator who inspires vision and collaboration for organizations nationwide.  With clients ranging from government entities, schools and universities, industry leadership teams, associations, and health care professionals, Sue offers a fresh, relationship-based perspective on leadership.  With a Master's degree in Counseling and certifications in Professional in Human Resources and Employee Relations Law, Sue speaks from a place of experience and confidence.  As an authorized Job Profiler, Sue builds consensus among employees and unleashes the talents and skills that transform potential into peak performance.  Accomplished in facilitating cooperation within resistant groups and defusing sticky employment interactions, Sue builds trust wherever she goes.  When not engaged in workplace interventions, Sue channels her love for teaching into schooling her four children at home and teaching Sunday School as a family.

Gary Sager, Ed.D.  

Gary is a Strengths Facilitator who has dedicated his life to studying human behavior and motivation.  His Doctoral degree in Counseling and dissertation on "Motivated Natural Abilities and Career Alignment" enable him to work with a large range of clients on personal and professional issues.  As a certified DiSC profiler, Gary has assisted thousands of individuals in finding their career fit and life purpose.  His talent for speaking from the heart and engaging participants in thought-provoking activities is grounded in solid research and theory.  As an experienced college instructor and accomplished storyteller, Gary moves audience members from passive participation to active involvement.  With a background in secondary and post-secondary education, public employment, and human services, Gary is the perfect match for any audience or individual seeking to make meaning of life.  In his free time, Gary enjoys outdoor adventures, telling stories to his four children, and traveling with his family.
